The Web Developer’s purpose is to create elegant web solutions that optimally support project goals in accordance with established specifications, standards and company vision.
Essential Results
Ensures Flawless Task Execution by working closely with Producer to fully understand and envision the intended result of each assigned project task; using own knowledge and creative expertise to execute project tasks promptly and produce intended results; working collaboratively with Producer to assess quality and timeliness of task deliverables; revising task deliverables as needed; and recommending and/or producing alternative or improved variations of task deliverables as appropriate.
Contributes and implements ideas that support team members' ability to maximize Client satisfaction.
Enhances the Work Environment by dealing openly and directly with team members; acting with integrity and respect; exhibiting a positive attitude.
Position Qualifications
Experience-Seeking to fill both Senior and Junior Positions
- 2 - 8 years in website development/design
- 0 - 5 years project management experience
Proficiency in three or more of the following:
- Web Design – HTML, Flash UI design, animation, basic actionscript
- Content Management Systems, especially Drupal Web Development – CSS / AJAX and Smarty, or Advanced Actionscript
- Web Development – PHP or Ruby on Rails, XML, and SQL variants
- Graphic Design and Illustration (PSD, AI, INDD, PDF)
- Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Responsible, self-starter
- Committed to working in a dynamic and supportive team environment
- Interested in enhancing life’s experience through one’s own work
- Highly organized; ideally a user of David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” (GTD) methodology or equivalent
